What is the density of aluminum profiles?

The density of aluminum profiles is approximately 2.7 grams per cubic centimeter (g/cm³).

This relatively low density is one of the main reasons aluminum is widely used in modern engineering and construction. Compared to steel, which has a density of about 7.8 g/cm³, aluminum is nearly three times lighter.

Because of this lightweight property, aluminum profiles are often used in industries where reducing weight improves performance, such as automotive manufacturing, aerospace engineering, and transportation equipment.

The lower weight also simplifies installation and reduces structural load in buildings.
